Terms of use

These terms are between you and TeraPixel LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (“Ever After”, “we”). By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who may use Ever After
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering you represent that you are. If we learn that an account holder is under 13, we will close the account and delete the personal information associated with it.
Some books carry age ratings above 13. Access to those is gated by your date of birth, by email verification, and — for the highest rating — by an explicit choice you make in your settings. You must not attempt to circumvent those gates.
2. Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us through Help. One person, one account.
3. Reading, and what belongs to whom
Books on Ever After belong to their creators or licensors. Your account gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read them on the service. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or feed them into another system for training or republication.
Your journeys — the choices you make and the state of your reading — are yours. We store them so the books remember you.
4. Content you submit
Reviews, ratings and messages you send stay yours. By posting them you give us permission to display and store them as part of running the service. Don’t post anything unlawful, harassing, or that you have no right to post.
If you submit a book through Create, it stays yours. You give us permission to store it, to review it, and — once approved — to publish it on Ever After and show it to readers. You keep the right to be identified as its creator, and you may edit its title and description after publication. You must have the right to everything in what you submit. Submissions are reviewed before publication, and a submission may be declined; the reason is recorded and shown to you.
We may remove content and suspend accounts under the content rules. Those actions are recorded, and we will tell you the reason.
5. What we promise, and what we don’t
We work to keep Ever After available and to protect readers, including younger ones: the age floor in section 1 is enforced by the server rather than only in the browser, age ratings gate what each reader can open, staff review reported content, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
Beyond that, Ever After is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any book will remain available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeraPixel LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost reading progress. Our total liability for any claim relating to Ever After is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Some states do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
6. Ending it
You may stop using Ever After at any time, and you may delete your account yourself. Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone: the account and everything in it goes, including anything you posted publicly. There is no recovery window, because a window would mean the data still existed during it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the content rules.
7. The rest
We may change these terms. When we do, we will post the change on this page and update the date at the top; continuing to use Ever After after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Ever After.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to Ever After will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court.
